THE ARTFUL GARDEN

"The Artful Garden" is a metaphor suggesting how we can sow seeds of creative ideas. Gardens start with small seeds, much like ideas and art. They both need to be fed, nurtured and loved in order to thrive. This "garden" is a safe place to be both inspired and inspiring to others. It is a way to share who you are and promote forward movement within your life. A way to realize that you are not alone. Please join our "conversation" any time by posting your thoughts, questions and ideas in the comment section of
"the garden."

These were taken at Bluff Point yesterday. They were so low in the sky and you could see all of the different colored purples and pinks in them. I just thought I would share. xoLaura

Laura...I love these pictures and I feel as though I am getting to know Bluff Point well! The colors remind me of the rainbow I saw that day at the beach. I forgot I was going to send you a picture of that. I will see if I can do that right now. I also wanted to thank YOU!! You inspired me to create a blog of my own for one of my Learning Through Teaching groups. I am SO excited to continue our conversations from class. I will let you know how it goes, and although this was not one of my goals for the week, I do have it up and running!! That is the problem with me and goals, I tend to get swept away with the creativity of the moment. Combine that with a dose of ADD and well...one never knows where I am going to end up next!!
Toodles!

Hey Tomasen~
That is fantastic that you have started a blog for your class! You will definately have to keep me posted on how it is going. What schools are you working with this year? I was just reading this morning In David Bayeles & Ted Orland's, "Art and Fear" about how ideas alway race ahead of us to some degree and I think that is true. I always have too many things that I want to do. They would often become so overwhelming that I would freeze. Now I know that I can take one at a time, put it down when I don't know what to do and use the excitement that I feel for the next idea, much like the energy you had for your new endeavor. I love that you tend to "get swept away with the creativity of the moment". I think those moments lead us to places that we may have never dreamed about until then. Smiles & love, Laura
